Jessica Lucas to join Gracepoint as reporter Renee Clemons

TVLine has the exclusive news today that Jessica Lucas will join the cast of Gracepoint to play reporter Renee Clemons. This is the role which was called Karen White in Broadchurch and was played by Vicky McClure.

Jessica Lucas has appeared in Melrose Place, Cult, CSI, 90210 and Edgemont.

The character of Renee Clemons is described as:
Formerly of the Bakersfield Mercury News and now a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, Renee thought the move to the big city would be a step up the career ladder — but things haven’t turned out that way. Previously she followed Detective Carver (played by Broadchurch’s David Tennant) on the Rosemont murders, and now she sniffs another big story with the death of a young boy named Danny Lasseter.

Filming on Gracepoint starts on Monday 27th January and it will be broadcast during the 2014 / 2015 season on the Fox television channel in the US.
